Sterling C. Hunt
Sterling C. Hunt served in the Air Force for 22 years, including seven years in France, before retiring in May 1964. He received many medals during his career. He came to Billings and then moved to California where he was a service representative and later service director for Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1971. He returned to Billings and operated Sterling Service.
He loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Hunt, 66, of 1101 Miles Ave., died Tuesday in St. Vincent Hospital of natural causes.
A son of Norman and Ruth Hunt, he was born in Ann Arbor, Mich., and was raised in Miles City. During World War II, he served in France and was injured there. In 1956, she married Suzanne Jominet in France.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David of Belgium; and three brothers, Earl of Bilings and Ray and Sherman both of Miles City.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday in Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Rosary Church with burial in Mountview Cemetery.
