Notes for Roscoe Ensign HUNT

Roscoe lived the life style of a hermit, isolated and alone in his shack that had neither running water nor plumbing. His sole transportation was his bicycle. His love of money was apparently greater than even the smallest creature comfort for he certainly had enough money to live comfortably anywhere in the country. "He'll probably outlive us all" remarked his mother in a letter to her grand daughter, Eva, in 1934-and he did.
Upon Roscoe's death in 1976, his estate, valued at over one hundred thousand dollars, was shared by his brother, Norman's, family.
