Cleveland Man Dies Suddenly
Byron M. Sixbery, 59, Formerly Was President of Village
Cleveland, March 9. Byron M. Sixbery, 59, died Wednesday afternoon about 2:30 at his home in Cleveland. He has been in Failing health for a long time, but had been confined to his bed but a few days.
Mr. Sixbery was born in Redwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Sixbery, and came to this village with his parents when a small boy. He had resided here ever since. He had held many prominent offices in this village, having been at different times president, trustee and treasurer. He was salesman for farming implements, conducted a store and was an insurance agent beside being associated several years with the Will and Sixbery canning factory in Cleveland. He was favorably and well known in Oswego county and central New York. He was a member of Cleveland lodge 813 F and A.M. and the Oneida Lake lodge of Odd Fellows and held office in the organizations.
Mr. Sixbery was married to Miss Bertha Will several years ago. Surviving besides his wife are three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Fanny Morenus, Cleveland, Mrs. Edith Evans and Mrs. John Braboski, Baldwinsville; Albert Sixbery, Cleveland, George Sixbery of Durhamville, and Oscar Sixbery of Oneida.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
