The marriage of Mr. Freeman Hastings and Miss Eva Sigsby took place Wednesday evening at eight o’clock at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Sigsby. The cememony was performed by Rev. W.E. Lyon, pastor of the Baptist church, in the presence of a few intimate friends. After the ceremony a dainty luncheon was served. The presents were very handsome and evidently selected by sensible people, as they were things of utility as well as beauty. Mr. And Mrs. Hastings have the best wishes of a host of friends.

Mrs. Eva Hastings
Eva Louise Hastings passed away at her home Monday evening at the age of fifty-seven after an illness of two years.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 13, 1878. Besides her husband, Freeman Hastings, she leaves nine children, 11 grandchildren, two sisters and one brother to mourn her departure.
The children are Mrs. John O’Brien, Mrs. Russell Nichol, Mrs. John Will of Elyria, Mrs. Earl Thompson, of Cleveland, Mrs. E. H. Bellman of Newton Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Alec Bruce, of LaGrange and Loren, Betty and Robert at home. Her sisters are Mrs. Lula Lyberger, Toledo, and Mrs. Ida Gessner of Willoughby and her brother, Bert Sigsbee of LaGrange.
She was a member of the Baptist church in La Grange and also a member of Eastern Star.
In respect to her own request, her funeral services will be private. The funeral will be hld at the home in N. Main Street, LaGrange at 2:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
