The marriage of Miss Florence Sigsby, daughter of Mr. Herbert Sigsby residing at the Maples on the Palmyra Road, to Floyd Ernest Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Johnson of Franklin Road, town of Marion, took place at the Second Reformed parsonage at six o’clock on Thursday evening November 9. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Ossewaarde. The attendants wer Miss Bessie VanHall and Harold Sigsby. A wedding supper was served at the bride’s home. Covers were laid for twenty-five. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will live at the Maples.

Johnson, Florence N. (Sigsby) - Florence N. (Sigsby) Johnson of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Williamson went home to be with her Lord on March 2, 2007 in her 97th year. She was born December 23, 1909, in Walworth the daughter of the late Herbert and Cornelia (Thomas) Sigsby. A retiree from Stromberg Carlson in Rochester. Member of the Second Reformed Church of Marion. At her request calling hours will not be observed and the courtesy of no flowers. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at the Young Funeral Home, 4025 West Main St., Williamson, Saturday morning, May 12 at 11 with the Rev. Louis Caruana, officiating.. Private Interment, Marion Cemetery. Survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Beverly (Thyril) Ladd of Deerfield Beach, FL; daughter-in- law, Arlene Johnson of Deerfield Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Richard Johnson Esq. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in her memory to the Second Reformed Church of Marion, PO Box 32, Marion, NY 14505.
