SIXBY-LAWTON

Pretty Afternoon Wedding Which Took Place at Brockport.
Brockport, April 16-A very pretty wedding took place this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Lawton of No. 46 Kenyon street, when their daughter, Miss Mabel Lawton, was united im marriage to Arthur Sixby, a prominent young man of Mayville, NY. The house was very prettily decorated in yellow and white, there being a profusion of yellow daffodils and potted plants. The wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. H. F. Bayley, of the Methodist Church of which the bride is a member.
The bride was very prettily dressed in a p---- white bride’s dress. Mrs. Carl Sixby was matron of honor and Miss Fannie Lawton, a sister of the bride, and Miss Lena Lawton and Miss Grace Lawton cousins of the bride were bridesmaids. They all carried yellow daffodils. Carl Sixby acted as best man. Immediately after the wedding ceremony an elaborate wedding dinner was served, covers being laid for m___s.
There were many out-of-town guests of Mrs. Sixby, parents of the groom, of Mayville, NY and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Sixby of Mayville; Miss Mary Sixby of Mayville’Miss Mary Sixby of Mayville; Mrs. Mary Everts of Holley, Miss Bulger. Miss Eva Pierce, Miss Gavigan and Mr. and Mrs. Norton, all of Rochester; Mrs Roy Brockett of Oakfield; Mrs. Bert Weberer of Albion and Miss Beulah Duell of Kendall.
