We did not have a record of her last name in our database. Do you know
if the maiden name was on the baptismal record of her son Charles or do
you have another source.
Joseph was the son of David Borst christened 29 Sep 1814 in the Lutheran
Church in Sharon NY. His father apparently was married twice. We do not
know the name of the first wife. The second wife was Elizabeth Wiltsey
according to Roscoe's 1881 History of Schoharie Co (which is on the
county USGENWEB site). It is unclear which wife was mother of Joseph.
