Mrs. Abram Sigsbee died on the 18th inst., aged 68 years. Mrs. Sigsbee had been an invalid and blind for several years. She was a woman possessed of many Christian virtues and had been a member of the church for many years and had borne her long illness with fortitude, such as only a true believer could. Her funeral occurred on Tuesday last, Rev. Dr. Belden officiating at the house, after which the remains were conveyed to New Salem for services at the church there and burial at that place. Her husband was also sick at the time and unable to accompany the remains to their final resting place.
