MRS. JAMES SECOR
Clara Sigsbee, wife of James Secor, entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, January 28th. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at her late home and 11 o’clock at the church. Rev. J. Van Ess officiating, assisted by Rev. George O. Reid. Undertaker Fredendall of Altamont had charge of the funeral. The bearers were Bert Ketcham, Alfred Brunk, Laurus Sagendorf and Charles Pitcher. Burial was made in Lake Rural cemetery. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.
Mrs. Secor was 67 years of age and had lived here nearly all her life, and in her passing we lose a kind friend and neighbor. She will be sadly missed in the home, where only the husband survives, to whom we extend our heartfelt sympathy; also to the sisters, Mrs. Kate Hallenbeck and Mrs. Jacob Hallenbeck and numerous other relatives who mour her loss.
