WATERVLIET WOMAN WEDS TROY DOCTOR
James D. McNary announces the marriage of his sister, Miss Mary Wilson McNary of Watervliet, to Dr. George Otis Knapp of Oakwood Avenue, Troy.
The wedding took place at noon Wednesday and was performed by Rev. Theodore Haydn at the Haydn residence on Leversee Road, Troy. For the ceremony, Wagner’s “Wedding March” was played by the nephew of the bride, Willard Haydn McNary.
Mary Frances McNary and Walter McNary, sister and brother of the bride were the attendants.
Following the ceremony, a luncheon was served with Mrs. James D. McNary and Mrs. Theodore Haydn as the hostesses.
Dr. and Mrs. Knapp left on an extended tour. On their return they will reside at the Knapp residence on Oakwood Avenue.
