On 3/17/ 1898 Lavina McNarry formerly a resident of Alcove died at her home in Amsterdam she was 85 years old ... she was survived by 1 son and 2 daughters

Louvicie McNary died this morning at her home on Race Course Street, aged 82 years. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Bradford Robbins of Albany; Mrs. Hester A. Cooper, Miss Libbie McNary and Ladowick McNary of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Betsey Cary of Coeymans. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral will be held from her late residence Monday at 3 pm. Interment in Green Hill.
