OBITUARIES
MRS. SARAH EVANS
Mrs. Sarah M. Evans, 79, widow of Orin Evans of Averill Park, died Saturday at her residence there after a long illness. She was born Sarah M. McNary in Troy but had resided in Averill Park for more than 50 years. She is survived by two sons, Edward W. Knapp of West Sand Lake and William Leonard Evans of Averill Park, and a brother, John G. McNary of Argyle. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. from the residence with Rev. Oscar Arnold, pastor of Stephentown Center Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sand Lake Union Cemetery.
