Captain Isaac R. McNary Dead

Atlantic City, NJ, April 17
Captain Isaac Ruby McNary, U.S.A., retired, died here today after an illness that had made him helpless for the last twenty years. He was a Civil War Veteran and was 75 years old. He is survived by a widow and one daughter.

Veteran Sailor Dies
Washington, April 18---the navy department was notified today that Chief Engineer Isaac H. McNary, one of the few surviving officers who entered the navy at the outbreak of the civil war had died in Atlantic City, NJ. He was born in New York 75 years ago and retired in 1894, while chief engineer of the Mare Island navy yard.
