In 1810 George and his family were in New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT with a son and daughter.

At a Court of Probate holden at Simsbury, within and for the District of Simsbury, on the 5th day of November, A.D. 1827
Present, John O. Pettibone, Esq., Judge
On motion of the Administrators on the estate of George McNary, late of New Hartford, deceased, this court doth appoint the 26th day od November, 1827, at 9 o’clock, A.M. at the Probate Office in said District, for the hearing, allowance, and settlement of the administration account on the estate of said deceased; and doth direct said administrators to give public notice to all persons interested in said estate, to appear (if they see cause) beore, said Court, at said time and place, to be heard therein, by advertising the same in a newspaper publiched in the town of Hartford.
