DELMAR -- Alma Engel McNary, 84, of Delsmere Avenue, died Monday at her home. A Colonie native, she was a graduate of Albany High School and worked for the Mobil Oil Company at the Port of Albany as a bookkeeper for 36 years, retiring in 1963. Mrs. McNary was married in 1947 and would have celebrated her 50th anniversary in November. She was a member of the Elsmere Fire Company. A Ladies Auxiliary since 1947 and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Albany. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth E. McNary; a nephew, Edward Engel of Colonie and two great-nephews. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Buridal will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar. Contributions may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 160 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
