ALBANY Bertha E. McNary Fink Ernst, 91, died Thursday, September 23, 2004 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha Hunt McNary. Bertha was a homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was blessed to be able to know and enjoy her family. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit. Wife of the late Ralph Fink and John N. Ernst; mother of Eva Ford, Elizabeth (Betty) Fink, Fred Fink and the late Ralph Fink, Robert C. Fink, Bertha E. Wendeborn and Virginia Burns; sister of Loretta J. Fink and the late Catherine Dayter, Agnes Seyboth, Eva Miller, Eleanor, Jacob and Loretta McNary; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Community Hospice staff and volunteers with the St. Peter's Mobile Meals program. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Hurlbut St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery, Rensselaer. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
