Notes for James CANARY

From the book on the McNary family. James of Perth, Fulton Co., NY used the
name Canary. Because the name on Martin McNary #1's Sergent's certificate from
the Rev. War was Kenary, his son James used the name Canary. (there is no evidence that Martin, the father served in the Rev. War. Martin did serve 3 times in the F&I War)

James was the founder of the Farm Insurance Company which is still in existance today.
