Jacob Laraway (1758-1847) enlisted, 1781, as private in Capt. George Pierson's company, Col. Marinus Willett's regiment, New York State volunteers. His widow received a pension. He was born in Schenectady; died in New York.

Larraway, Jacob or Jacob Laraway, Elizabeth, W20427, BLW #3835-160-55, NY line, sol m Elizabeth Murry 24 Nov 1785 at Schenectady, NY, sol was b. 2 Mar 1759, he lived in Albany Co NY at enl, sol appl 18 Aug 1832 at Bethlehem in Albany Co NY & he d there or in New Scotland NY on 26 Jan 1847, wid appl 22 Apr 1847 at Bethlehem NY aged 86 , in Jun 1847 she was living at Guilderland NY & in 1848 she was living at New Scotland NY, wid appl for BLW 26 Mar 1855 at Guilderland NY, wid d. 14 Jun 1857, a son Samuel Larraway was of Guilderland NY in 1847, sol's bro Isaac Laraway was of Middleburgh in 1841 & was aged about 5 yrs older than his bro Jacob, in 1832 Isaac Laraway of Berne NY stated he was b in Jan 1761 & had lived in the same house as sol during the Rev but no relationship was stated, sol's 2nd cousin Isaac Larraway d in 1841, in 1855 James Laraway was of Guilderland NY no relationship stated
